What to do in the week after a bad board meeting
Don’t rewrite the strategy on Monday. Start with the one question you couldn’t answer.

A bad board meeting feels like a verdict. It rarely is. It’s usually one question you weren’t ready for, asked in front of everyone.
Spend the first week on that question alone. Answer it properly, in writing, and send it before anyone asks again.
The strategy can wait a fortnight. Your credibility can’t.
